Volunteer works for myself

Until the time I didn't know true meaning of myself

I could understand the meaning of myself through volunteer works.

During my high school days, I was paticipated in the environment clean at the community.

Old castle and other historical places.

It was enforced that we have to hand papers attested we did activate 15 hours in every year to school office. So I couldn't know the meaning of the volunteering. It was called out, no volunteer work

Find myself : 2002 12. 24 ~ 2004. 4. ??

After the graduating of high school, I walked around for finding myself.

And then volunteer work program in Jung-Gu Welfare office helps to understand the meaning of social network and what I can do for my community.

I joined the program with Christmas party for children.

After the chance, I have taken 27months in the program as a mentor.

My children lower class in elementary school called me as a teacher.

To get the roll was made me concentrate on the program and myself.

In 2004, I had to preparate to serve in military, so I eventually quited the program.

Got a broaden eyes. : 2004 11 ~ 2004. 12

Until the time to enroll the military, I had temporary rest of time from the University for a little while, about 5 months.

During the time I had paticipated in UNESCO Intern.

2004 ASEAN-ROK Cultural Leadership Exchange Program, hosted by KNCU(Korean national Committee of UNESCO)

A lot of people was participated in the program from ASEAN, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Philiphine, Indonesia, Nepal, Sri Lanka and UNESCO Headquarter.

I worked for summing up the documents from the participating nations, guiding the participants to craft facilities in the domestic and making name tag for paticipants like below.

In the program, I could see various sides of ASEAN Craft and feel the matter of language.

We had some obstacle to communicate each other, body language and some drink helped us to open heart to heart.

All of them with the program were very good people.

I could make a my mind to try to understand other culture and learn the languages more.
